Best Time to Visit Vail Ski Resort, Breckenridge and Beaver Creek | Colorado Travel 2021

Those who want to take advantage of high season plan a visit between November and April when temperatures can vary between 37 and 44 degrees. During the ski season, only sporadic snowfalls and the snow-making capacity of the ski resorts is limited, so your skiing opportunities are limited until November. Once winter is in full swing, the trails of the ski resorts open and the entire mountain will be your skiing trip until January.

There are lot of places near Denver you can visit such as Vail ski resort, Breckenridge and Beaver Creek and you can simply book any private car service or popular Denver limo to visit Vail, Breckenridge or Beaver Creek.

In summer, the ski town turns into a paradise for outdoor activities and adventures. This makes April to September the perfect time of the year to plan a road trip to Breckenridge. The resort is not as crowded during the week when the children are not at school and the conditions are a bit colder, but January, the coldest month in Colorado, can still see large crowds.

The best time to ski in Colorado depends on what kind of snow you want. Season opening and closing days for Colorado ski resorts should always be kept in mind before booking or planning a trip. There are several ways to reach Denver to Vail, however, it is best to book a car from Denver Airport.

Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek Ski Resorts have announced that the ski season has been extended to Beaver Creek on April 11 and 18 at Vail Mountain in 2020-21. Vail Resorts, which includes Colorado resorts such as Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Breckenridge, Crested Butte and more, will offer Epic Pass holders (including Epic Day Pass holders) exclusive access to all resorts in November and early December when lift passes go on sale. Aspen Highlands will reopen on December 12, and Buttermilk, the last of the Colorado ski resorts, will open on December 18. The Aspen and Snowmass ski areas do not have Epic or Ikon passes and have different opening hours.

The advantage is that many local ski passes are blackened between Christmas and New Year, which means you have more air to breathe on the slopes than you would expect. Resort season tickets are also limited on weekends, which mean there are fewer people and a whole corner of the mountain that you can take ownership of if you want to make your route around the base area.

Most resorts are open for departures until mid-January, so there’s plenty of room to spread out. If you plan to visit Vail during spring break, consider a larger resort, they are equipped to handle and manage larger crowds. Buses run throughout the city to help visitors take part in the many events that take place throughout the year in the nearby resorts.

Many people think that a road trip is a cheaper alternative to air travel, but if you travel in the low season, you can enjoy some of Colorado’s top amenities for a quarter of the price with better service. Another bonus is that the mountainous regions are known for their posh shops.
